Federal Grant Writer Volunteer

Collier Counseling Center NP is seeking a skilled and experienced Federal Grant Writer Volunteer to join our team and assist with identifying, researching, and writing grant proposals to secure funding for our programs and services. This volunteer opportunity offers individuals with expertise in grant writing the chance to contribute to our mission of providing free mental health counseling services to those in need.


Responsibilities:

  • Researching federal grant opportunities, with a focus on SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) grants and other relevant funding sources.
  • Collaborating with program staff to gather information and data necessary for grant proposals.
  • Writing clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals that align with the organization's mission and priorities.
  • Ensuring grant proposals are submitted on time and in compliance with all requirements and guidelines.
  • Monitoring grant progress and reporting requirements, and assisting with grant reporting as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in grant writing, particularly with federal grants and preferably with SAMHSA grants.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify relevant funding opportunities.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Familiarity with grant application processes and reporting requirements.
  • Commitment to volunteering and supporting our mission of providing free mental health services.

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Volunteer

Collier Counseling Center NP is seeking dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to volunteer their time and expertise to provide free mental health counseling services to individuals, families, and groups in our community. This volunteer opportunity offers a meaningful way to give back and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting intake assessments and developing treatment plans for clients.
  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions.

Qualifications:
